There was a boy who dreamed of speaking to people's hearts — of showing them a worth they might have missed. He didn't have the courage or the love of himself to say it out loud. The thought underneath was always the same: who would ever listen to me? That single question became the spine of everything that followed.
I've been a social worker and a salesperson. Today I'm a Medicare agent, the president of Kingdom First Insurance, an author, and a mentor. But the achievement I'm proudest of came before the agency and the 550 clients — it's the long, honest work of going after my own blind spots and learning to be the me that God sees. That work made everything else possible.
